NGC 2403 (also known as Caldwell 7) is an intermediate spiral galaxy in the constellation Camelopardalis. This galaxy is very similar to another more well-known object called the Triangulum Galaxy or M33. Both are flocculent galaxies meaning a patchy, fluffy look, with shory, fragmented spiral arms. And the core is not as concentrated as you see in most other galaxies. The pink areas are glowing hydrogen gas where stars are formed, and the blue areas are young, hot stars. This galaxy is approximately 10 million light years from Earth.
